I have been using Chicco Baby Moments Gentle Body Wash and Shampoo every since my daughter was a little less than a month old. I was skeptical of using these products on her, but I quickly gained confidence in this brand after using Chicco Baby Moments no more tears Shampoo.
All the Chicco products in the bath range are free of harmful chemicals. This means that you can trust this brand with your eyes closed when it comes to your baby. So far I have not seen anyone complaining of Chicco products causing an allergic reaction on their babies’ skin. So I’m all in for this brand.
After using No tears baby shampoo from Chicco I tried the body wash and shampoo in a smaller packaging before purchasing the bigger one. And I was glad I purchased it.

Chicco Baby Moments Gentle Body Wash and Shampoo is good in a lot of ways but like everything else, this product is also not free from down side. So let’s see what the good and the bad of this product are and whether or not it is actually worth spending so much money on.
What I liked about the product
Starting off with the good things first, as the name suggests, Chicco Baby Moments Gentle Body Wash and Shampoo is actually gentle on your baby’s skin.
As this product is free from SLS, SLES, Parabens, Alcohol and Dyes (hazardous chemicals), so I feel no trouble in using this on my baby and I have been using this ever since she was only a month old. The no tears formula that it has, does not irritate the baby’s eyes. Thus, it is absolutely safe for the babies.
The texture of the wash and shampoo is gel-based. It glides on smoothly on the body and on the scalp and you should not have any problem with it personally.
Given the fact that a baby’s skin is extra soft and smooth, this product makes sure that it remains so after use. Because of the presence of chemicals in a lot of products, a difference can be seen in the skin texture. However, with Chicco Baby Gentle Body wash and shampoo, since it has smoothing and softening oat properties in it, the skin always remains soft and smooth to the touch.
500ml packaging comes with a pump dispenser that you press with your fingers to get the product out. This is very convenient considering you don’t have to use both your hands to use the product on your baby while bathing him
I have been using this wash and shampoo for over seven months now and have not seen the slightest change in my daughter’s skin. It is as smooth and soft as it was the day she was born.
Again, I cannot stress the fact enough that when a product is multi-purpose, it becomes travel friendly as well. You don’t have to carry a shampoo separately and a bottle of body wash separately for the baby. One wash+shampoo is all you need for your travelling purposes.
What I disliked about the product
I don’t appreciate the packaging. It does not come with a see through bottle. You’ll just have to make a wild guess when it is about to finish. This is a big downside for me.
Another thing that I found bothered me was the fact that only with a lot of rubbing it creates lather. This body wash and shampoo is good for hair, and not for your body. It would require a lot of rubbing on your part to get some foam out of it.
Last but not least, Chicco Baby Moments Gentle Body Wash and Shampoo is a bit on the expensive side. If you compare it with the likes of Johnson’s Top-To-Toe Wash, you will realize that equally good products are available at a relatively lower prices.

So, based on my experience of using Chicco Baby Moments Gentle Body Wash and Shampoo, I would recommend mothers to go ahead and purchase it. But if you are a little pressed on budget then there are better and equally good alternatives available in the market.
